Skagit Regional Health invites a Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery department, in a busy, collaborative team on the Mount Vernon campus. You will work outpatient clinics, inpatient rounding, and assist in ORs alongside eight physicians and nine PAs, with call shared 1:9.

• Master's degree in PA studies from an accredited program.
• 2-4 years of surgical experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain before start.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

• See patients in outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assist in inpatient and outpatient Operating Rooms.
• Clinic, hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center all located on the same campus.

Highlights

• Join a collaborative surgical team of eight (8) physicians and nine (9) PAs, along with an experienced support staff. Opportunity to work with physicians in various orthopedic specialties such as sports medicine, orthopedic spine, and general orthopedics.
• Responsibilities include seeing patients in the outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assisting in our inpatient and outpatient Operating Rooms. Clinic, hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center all located on the same campus.
• 4-day schedule with shared weeknight/weekend call of 1:9.
• This is a full time, hospital employed position with a large built in referral base.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.

• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $141,964 - $162,363 DOE
• Employment bonus, relocation reimbursement & CME allowance.
