Job summary

Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, WA is actively seeking an additional Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team. You will work in outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assist in ORs on a campus with integrated EPIC EMR.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in PA studies, has 2-4 years of surgical experience (new grads welcome), and possesses or can obtain WA licensure. This full-time role offers a strong built-in referral base and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
• 2–4 years of surgical experience preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.

Responsibilities

• See patients in the outpatient clinic and perform inpatient rounding.

• Work with a busy team of nine physicians and six PAs on the same campus.
• Shared weeknight/weekend call of 1:8.

Highlights

• Join a collaborative acute and elective surgical team of nine (9) physicians and six (6) PAs, along with an experienced support staff.
• Responsibilities include seeing patients in the outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assisting in our inpatient and outpatient Operating Rooms. Clinic, hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center all located on the same campus. Our surgeons have a broad practice, allowing you to assist on a variety of surgical cases.
• 4-day schedule with shared weeknight/weekend call of 1:8.
• This is a full time, hospital employed position with a large built in referral base.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $140,440-$160,516 DOE
