Job description

Mount Nittany Health is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon! Join an employed group consisting of 4.4 physicians and 4 APPs that provide coverage at Mount Nittany Medical Center, a 260-bed acute care facility in State College, PA. State College offers all of the luxuries of a college town including short commutes, NCAA Sports, arts, high-quality schools, and outdoor recreation abounds with beautiful hiking and biking trails. Community-based medicine is a plus! The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.

The Position:

• 1 Hospital: Mount Nittany Medical Center
• 12 total ORs and an off-site Surgery Center with 4 ORs.
• 4 Surgeons and 4 APPs
• 1:4 call and will go to 1:5 call
• 2 da Vinci Robots
• EMR: Meditech with transition to Epic
