Coverage type: Call Only

Schedule:

1. Sept 5 am and Sept 12 am
2. Oct 3 am and Oct 10 am
3. Oct 31 am and Nov 7 am
4. Nov 28 am and Dec 4 am

Additional requirements: 1 week per month needed. Call coverage from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily, with an average of 3-5 cases per day.

Responsibilities include: Rounding on all surgery patients (average 1.5 hours in the morning and afternoon for patients on their service), including cases like Appendectomies, Colectomies, with GI experience required. Must have Level IV Trauma experience, some pediatric cases (8 years and older), and handle perforations.

Consultations: 3-5 ER consults and 10-15 phone consults per day.

Minimum Board Certification: BC
