• Call Schedule: 24-hr calls; 6a-6a
- 1 weekend (4 days) or every 5 weeks (depends on the schedule)
• Ave. Worked Callback Hours: 2 hrs
• Patient Volume: Varies
• Support Staff: Nurses, OR staff (as needed)
• Duties:
- Will cover any inpatients that have not been discharged
- Cover ER, IP and any practice issues that need to be addressed on the days the locum is on service, go to OR for trauma/gen surg cases.
- Basic call
• Trauma Level: III
• EMR: Epic
• Other Info: Need to backfill for locum who needs to take 6 month break.
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

Requirements:
• Active CO License/IMLC
• BC/BE (Gen Surgery; If BE: 0-5 yrs post residency completion)
• Residency/Fellowship in General Surgery
• ATLS, BLS
• Active DEA (must keep the DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked)
• Clean record
• Local candidates (preferred)
