Neuroendovascular Surgery Physician Locums Job in Colorado Assignment

Open Dates:
August 4 (7a) - August 8 (7a)
August 15 (7a) - August 21 (7a)
All of October - December is open
Ongoing coverage will be 10-11 days per month

Details:
MUST be available to cover the open August dates above.
Schedule: 24 hour call shifts (7AM - 7AM)
Must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
Heavy surgical emphasis
Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.
Must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
100% adult
50% trauma
100% inpatient
0-5 hospital based patients per day
Support Staff: Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
Surgery volume expected while on call and average number of patients or hours varies at a given time. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab.

90 day credentialing timeframe
Will pay for full travel

Requirements:
Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES - REQUIRED
Active Colorado license or IMLC - REQUIRED
ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), DEA - REQUIRED
Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient. - REQUIRED TO NOTE
Clean background/no malpractice - REQUIRED, willing to consider providers with 1 malpractice case settled under $300k.
Must indicate that you are aware and comfortable with a Heavy surgical emphasis - REQUIRED TO NOTE
COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED
