Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Surgery - Neuro Facility and Practice Summary

Join a well-respected and dynamic healthcare facility located in Lakewood, Colorado, known for its commitment to providing high-quality healthcare. This institution is seeking urgent coverage in April 2025, with ongoing opportunities anticipated from July 2025 onward. As a Level I Trauma center, the facility encounters a diverse range of challenging cases requiring a skilled neurosurgeon.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide primary call coverage for neurosurgery on a 24/7 basis.
2. Manage trauma cases, with proficiency in general neurosurgery and spine procedures required.
3. Participate in a 24-hour call schedule including 8 hours of gratis time.
4. Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and treatment management.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC (with LOQ in hand at the time of submission).
• Active certifications in ACLS and BLS required for credentialing.
• Current DEA registration, with considerations for transfers.
• Clean malpractice and background history; higher priority for candidates with a self-inquiry NPDB report.
• Availability for the specified April dates and willingness to disclose ongoing shift availability.

License and Certification Requirements
