Job summary

Centerpoint - Versailles is seeking a Surgery Float RN for a PRN, part-time role. Schedule requires 4 shifts in a 6-week period, with no call, no weekends, and no holidays. The Surgery Float RN delivers perioperative care and supports the surgical team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Applicants should hold an active RN license and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. 1–2 years of Surgery RN experience; 2–4 years critical care preferred, plus BLS and ACLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and accredited nursing degree.
• 1-2 years minimum experience as a Surgery RN; 2-4 years critical care preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• TNCC preferred; specialty certification testing within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect perioperative patient care.
• Documents patient care provided and monitors patient condition.
• Prepares, positions, and transports patients for procedures.
• Prepares surgical and endoscopy suites; ensures proper scope reprocessing.
• Collaborates with care team; educates patients and families.
• Maintains safe environment and participates in ongoing learning.
