Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Infection Prevention education requirements IC#23 are noted.

Responsibilities

• Uses dust mop to remove dust from horizontal and vertical surfaces (high and low).
• Empties and cleans waste baskets.
• Full trash bags are placed in soiled utility room, janitor’s closets, or outside.
• Damp clean all furniture, telephones, nurse call cords, tables, and ledges; spot clean doors, walls, cabinets, and beds.
• Mop floors using appropriate chemicals and equipment; dry and wet mop where directed.
• Remake beds with clean linens and remove used supplies to the soiled utility room.
