Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time RN Specialty Leader for our Surgery Department.

The RN is responsible for daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with nursing staff and other health care professionals, ensuring resource use and adherence to standards of care and outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. The candidate should be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing with current West Virginia RN licensure or a valid compact state license; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor patient care with nursing staff and health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and maintain standards of care to meet outcomes within appropriate length of stay.
• Assist with management needs of the Nursing Unit.
