Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in West Virginia is seeking a Full Time RN for the Surgery Department. The RN is responsible for the daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.

Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a current WV RN license or a valid compact-state license is required. BLS is required. Experience is welcome but not mandatory as part of growth in a dynamic surgical unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Daily planning, coordination and monitoring of care with nursing staff and other health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and adherence to standards of care.
• Meet outcomes within an appropriate length of stay.
• Justify and document variations based on patients' needs.
• Assist with management needs of the Nursing Unit.
