Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center in West Virginia is seeking a Full Time RN Specialty Leader for our Surgery Department.

The RN will plan, coordinate, and monitor patient care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals, ensuring resources are used efficiently and care standards are met to achieve outcomes and appropriate lengths of stay. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with an active RN license in West Virginia or a valid compact state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor patient care with nursing staff and other health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and maintain standards of care to meet outcomes and appropriate length of stay.
• Assist with management needs of the Nursing Unit and justify any patient care variations.
