Vanguard Skin Specialists seeks a Surgery Coordinator to ensure a positive patient experience across multiple Colorado offices. The role requires handling pathology results and communicating them with empathy, coordinating treatment plans, and supporting a collaborative team environment.

The position is full-time at our Colorado Springs headquarters and Briargate locations, with standard business hours and opportunities for overtime, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Surgery Coordinator

Vanguard Skin Specialists is a dermatology and plastic surgery practice serving communities in southern Colorado. Our mission is to make a positive impact on our patients, our community, and our world. We are seeking a Surgery Coordinator who will help create an amazing patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Track pathology results with accuracy
• Communicate benign and malignant results with compassion
• Coordinate treatment across all of our offices
• Verify insurance benefits and communicate cost information with patients

• Maintain a minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute

Schedule

This is a full‑time position with business hours Monday to Friday. The role is based at the Colorado Springs headquarters and Briargate locations, serving multiple offices (Colorado Springs, Canon City, Castle Rock, Parker, Pueblo, and Woodland Park).

Performance Management

Your first informal review will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire and will be followed by semi‑annual formal review cycles (spring or fall). Compensation reviews will occur in the same cycles annually.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience, with eligibility for overtime

Physical Working Conditions

• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for up to 10 hours

• Be able to identify colors on the computer and software used
