Job summary

Omega Recruiting is seeking a BE/BC Colorectal Surgeon to join a well-established surgery group in NW Indiana, about 45 minutes from downtown Chicago. The hospital-employed practice emphasizes a balance between work and personal life, with strong mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery.
• Inpatient and outpatient colorectal surgical care expected.
• Proficient with EPIC EMR system in hospital and clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient colorectal surgical care in a hospital-employed setting.
• Participate in call rotation and general surgery cases.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.

Target Start Date: Upon an offer being made to and accepted by a provider, the credentialing process will take approximately 90-120 days before a provider can start with us.

Job Requirements

• Full-time/permanent position with inpatient and outpatient practice
• Board Certified/Board Eligible required.
• Unique work structure conducive to utilizing all your skills
  • Call rotation 1:6
  • Monday – Friday
  • Will include General Surgery cases and call
• EMR system utilized in Inpatient & Outpatient settings
  • EPIC – fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII (Only 5% of hospitals in country are at this level of sophistication)
  • Easy to use; support department available
