Joseph Michaels International in Hobart, IN, seeks a board-certified colorectal surgeon to join a well-established Northwest Indiana practice. Full-time, Monday–Friday with a 1:6 call rotation and flexible scheduling; relocation assistance available and H-1B candidates considered.

You will perform colon, rectum, and anal surgery using laparoscopic and robotic techniques, manage pre- and post-operative care, and document with EPIC EMR.

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
• Clinic patients per day: 20
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
