Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a qualified Colorectal Surgeon to join our Northwest Indiana practice in Hobart, IN. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:6 call rotation and potential relocation assistance.

You will diagnose, treat, and operate on colorectal disorders, utilizing minimally invasive techniques and AI-assisted documentation tools. Board eligible/certified candidates with Indiana license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible with a plan for certification within a timeframe.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with specialists.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide post-operative follow-up and outcome tracking.
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery.
• Perform colonoscopies and endoscopies as part of screenings.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and surgically treating disorders of the colon, rectum, and anus
• Clinic patients per day: 20
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide diligent post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient recovery and outcome tracking
• Utilize minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery (e.g., DaVinci platform).
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic screenings, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Manage complex anorectal conditions

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with other specialists
