Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Surgery Coding Auditor to ensure accurate surgical coding and compliance across US facilities. This fully remote role emphasizes quality assurance, education, and process improvement, auditing ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.

The ideal candidate holds RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CCS-P/CPC or CPC-H credentials with at least two years of coding experience, works independently, and communicates findings to HIM leadership and facility personnel. A Low Risk NACI background is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of surgical coding experience and strong documentation knowledge.
• Ability to audit ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers with supporting evidence.

Qualifications Required:

• Active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or CPC-H credential and at least two years of coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical coding, documentation requirements, and compliance.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Low Risk NACI background investigation.
• Work independently while collaborating with health information management leadership and facility personnel.
• Operate securely from an approved location within the United States with protected health information.
