Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Unit Clerk for the Surgery Clinic to support patient care and administrative functions. Under supervision, you will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating unit activities while performing clerical and receptionist duties and maintaining the clinical environment.

You will demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills, and complete required orientation and training to ensure safety and efficiency in a busy perioperative

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Nursing Services orientation and in-service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities on the nursing unit.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties and maintain the area.
• Utilize office equipment (telephone, fax, copy machine, computer, printer) and ensure smooth patient flow.
