Quincy Medical Group's Surgery Center is hiring a Medical Assistant to support patients before and after outpatient procedures, collaborating with nurses, surgeons and anesthesia teams in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

Duties include obtaining vitals, updating medical histories, reviewing medications, assisting with recovery, preparing exam and recovery rooms, and documenting all care in the EMR with compassionate, patient-centered service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients for procedures: obtain vitals, update histories, review medications, document in EMR.
• Escort patients through pre-operative process and support perioperative team.
• Assist with pre- and post-operative patient care, room preparation, and recovery support.
