Job summary

Quincy Medical Group is hiring a Medical Assistant in Orthopedics to support patients with musculoskeletal care. You will assist with visits, procedures, and follow‑ups, coordinating care across teams to ensure a smooth clinic flow.

The role requires multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced orthopedic setting, with an emphasis on compassionate, patient‑centered service. Prior MA experience and CPR certification are valued, and the compensation reflects base pay plus incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required (available upon hire).
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in physician offices or orthopedic clinics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Seat and prepare patients, take vital signs, and collect medical histories.
• Assist with examinations, injections, casting, procedures, and clinic workflows.
• Coordinate referrals, imaging, testing, prior authorizations, and follow‑ups.
• Document in the electronic medical record and manage clinical communications.
