Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of hospital or medical office experience.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance prior to patient arrival and obtains pre-certification when needed.
• Assists with scheduling, financial counseling and chart preparation.
• Handles patient calls and outbound collection discussions regarding balances.
