Job description

Coverage: CVT Surgery

We are seeking a provider with expertise in cardiac and thoracic surgery.

Coverage will involve 2-3 providers, with coverage needed for one to two weekends each month, starting from January 2023. The schedule is from 7am Friday to 7am Monday.

Reason for coverage: Provider leaving (vacation, maternity/health, staff leveling, etc.).

Call schedule: 1:3 weekdays and 1:3 weekends. Call back percentage is 30%. Each physician handles 10-12 patients per day.

EMR system: EPIC. Support staff includes NPs.

Candidate requirements: Board certification, ATLS and ACLS certifications. Only licensed providers with IMLC are considered; non-licensed or IMLC providers are not accepted. Experience with TAVR and/or CABG procedures is required. Please note that non-cardiac procedures are not accepted.
