East Texas healthcare system is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgeon to join their clinical faculty at a Level 1 trauma center. The team includes 2 Cardiovascular Surgeons, 4-6 NPs, and dedicated support staff. The role involves academic, inpatient, and outpatient duties with an expected 600 open heart cases annually. Opportunities include being a 1st Assist for vein harvesting, with an on-site Heart Valve Center performing MitraClip, TAVR, and valve replacements, supported by 9 cardiologists. Referrals come from the cath lab and valve center. The EMR system used is Epic.
Applicants should have completed a Surgical Fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery. Both experienced and graduating Cardiovascular Surgery physicians are encouraged to apply. Compensation includes a base salary plus wRVU production incentives. H1B sponsorship is available.
