Job description

Seeking BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join talented team

We are looking for a Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with spine fellowship training and experience in trauma neurosurgery. The candidate must be capable of performing complex spine surgeries.

The incoming provider will primarily focus on trauma neurosurgery, including:

  1. Hospital-based trauma management under the trauma department
  2. Managing neuro trauma alerts
  3. Trauma consultations
  4. Follow-up clinic management
  5. Participation in peer review, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds

You will share the month with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon supported by APPs. Our trauma program is the area's only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center serving five counties and over 1 million residents. It is also a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Central Florida and hosts the residency consortium.
