• Clinical Role:
  • Seeking an additional Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a well-established practice of 3 board-certified surgeons.
  • This is a hospital-employed practice opportunity.
  • The Medical Center has the strongest Cardiovascular program in the region, ranking in the Top 10 percent nationally for patient safety in heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care.
  • Established interventional, non-invasive, and structural heart programs provide access to thoracic, cardiac, and vascular cases.
  • Experience with and willingness to participate in a TAVR program is preferred.
  • DaVinci robotic surgical system available.
  • Call shared equally at 1:4.
  • Office located on Southeast Health campus for easy hospital access.
  • Cardiothoracic APPs assist in OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in the post-op clinic.
  • Strong referral base from Primary Care and Cardiology sources.
  • Robust IM Hospitalist service supports non-surgical medical consults.
