- Clinical Role:
- Seeking an additional Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a well-established practice of 3 board-certified surgeons.
- This is a hospital-employed practice opportunity.
- The Medical Center has the strongest Cardiovascular program in the region, ranking in the Top 10 percent nationally for patient safety in heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care.
- Established interventional, non-invasive, and structural heart programs provide access to thoracic, cardiac, and vascular cases.
- Experience with and willingness to participate in a TAVR program is preferred.
- DaVinci robotic surgical system available.
- Call shared equally at 1:4.
- Office located on Southeast Health campus for easy hospital access.
- Cardiothoracic APPs assist in OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in the post-op clinic.
- Strong referral base from Primary Care and Cardiology sources.
