Surgery and MRI Scheduler
The Surgery and MRI Scheduler is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive experience for surgical and imaging patients by coordinating care, managing scheduling, and serving as a liaison between patients and the imaging and surgical departments of Animas Surgical Hospital. This role supports both the front and back of the office, including health information support, pre-authorizations and insurance verification.

$19.50 – $31.97 (posted hourly range excludes overtime and bonuses which are not guaranteed)
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
1–2 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting. Experience with scheduling systems and EHR software strongly preferred.
This position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 15 at times. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Environmental hazards such as chemicals, solvents, needles, needle containers, sharps, blood, body fluids, various infectious/communicable diseases, infectious medical waste, radiation, and/or radioactive materials and or radioactive waste, proximity to moving mechanical parts. Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary.
* Vaccine records or evidence of immunity are required prior to 1 st day of scheduled work.
