Penn State Health and Penn State College of Medicine seek an accomplished Surgeon-Scientist to serve as Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. The successful candidate will maintain and grow an independent research program while leading strategic research initiatives.

Candidates from all otolaryngology subspecialties are encouraged to apply and will mentor faculty, residents, students, and research trainees, fostering multidisciplinary collaborations.

Qualifications

• MD/MD‑PhD/DO or equivalent degree.
• Board certification in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
• Established independent research program with extramural funding.

Responsabilités

• Lead Department's research strategy and infrastructure.
• Mentor faculty, residents, students, and trainees.
• Develop interdisciplinary collaborations and new initiatives.
• Expand external research funding and clinical investigation.
