Job summary

Life Science Logistics in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will perform a variety of light‑to‑moderate duties, including receiving, picking, loading, and handling pallets, while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work with RF scanning devices. A valid driver's license and successful pre‑employment screening are also required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Basic Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in warehouse or supply chain environments is a plus.
  • RF guns/scanners experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to Routine Activation Drills within 90 minutes.
  • Assist in receiving incoming product with full-time warehouse staff.
  • Assist in picking of product with full-time warehouse staff.
  • Inform supervisor of any product issues.
  • Load product onto trailers as directed by supervisor.
  • Wrap, scan, or process product and pallets.
  • Operate warehouse equipment if LSL certified and safe.
  • Report equipment failures to supervisor.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness per cGMP and LSL standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • One scheduled 5-hour shift per week (7:00 am - 12:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm). You may elect to work up to one additional 5 hour shift once per quarter during Surge week. (Quarterly drill).
  • Respond to Routine Activation Drills in the required 90 minute time frame.
  • May assist in the Receipt of incoming product while working with LSL full-time warehouse personnel or supervision.
  • May assist in the picking of product while working with LSL full-time warehouse personnel or supervision.
  • Inform supervisor of any product issues
  • Load product onto trailers as directed by Supervisor
  • Wrap, scan, or process product and pallets as directed by Supervisor
  • Operate Company warehouse equipment (if LSL certified) in a safe and reliable manner.
  • Report all equipment failures to supervisor
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness is maintained to cGMP and LSL standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Job Specifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalency required
Technical Expertise
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with warehouse or supply chain environments and transportation is a plus
  • Experience utilizing RF Guns/Scanners is a plus
Additional Employment Requirements
  • Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., drug screen and background check)
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Adhere to strict appearance and uniform guidelines
Physical/Mental/Visual Demands
  • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Must be able to bend / stoop to complete tasks
  • Must be able to remain on your feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Forklift operation requires the ability to hear warehouse activity
  • Must be able to read at a distance, close to the eyes, and at arm's length with or without correction. Forklift operation requires distance vision
Working Conditions
  • Activities occur both inside (protected from weather conditions but not temperature changes) and outside.
  • Employee is subjected to extreme cold during freezer work. LSL provides PPE to ensure employee safety.
  • Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and working in high places.

  • Equipment: Material Handling Equipment (Upon receipt of LSL certification).
  • Systems: RF scan guns and RF devices.
