Job summary

LifeScience Logistics in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a part-time, 5-hour weekly shift (7:00–12:00 or 12:00–5:00) with a possible monthly Surge day. The role supports receipt, picking, and packing tasks under supervision, helping maintain efficient operations in a cGMP-compliant facility.

Responsibilities include responding to drills within 90 minutes, loading and unloading, operating RF scan devices (LSL certified), and keeping the workspace clean.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalency required.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Adhere to strict appearance and uniform guidelines.

• One scheduled 5-hour shift per week (7:00 am-12:00 pm or 12:00 pm-5:00 pm). You may elect to work up to one additional 5-hour shift once per month on Surge day.
• Respond to Routine Activation Drills in the required 90 minute time frame.
• May assist in the Receipt of incoming product while working with LSL full-time warehouse personnel or supervision.
• May assist in the picking of product while working with LSL full-time warehouse personnel or supervision.
• Inform supervisor of any product issues.
• Load product onto trailers as directed by Supervisor.
• Wrap, scan, or process product and pallets as directed by Supervisor.
• Operate Company warehouse equipment (if LSL certified) in a safe and reliable manner.
• Report all equipment failures to supervisor.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness is maintained to cGMP and LSL standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Job Specifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalency required.

Additional Employment Requirements

• Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., drug screen and background check).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Adhere to strict appearance and uniform guidelines.

Physical/Mental/Visual Demands

• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to bend / stoop to complete tasks.
• Must be able to remain on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Forklift operation requires the ability to hear warehouse activity.
• Must be able to read at a distance, close to the eyes, and at arm’s length with or without correction. Forklift operation requires distance vision.

Working Conditions

• Activities occur both inside (protected from weather conditions but not temperature changes) and outside.
• Employee is subjected to extreme cold during freezer work. LSL provides PPE to ensure employee safety.
• Hazardous conditions may exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and working in high places.

Equipment Operated

• Equipment: Material Handling Equipment (Upon receipt of LSL certification).
• Systems: RF scan guns and RF devices.

Technical Expertise

• Basic Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with warehouse or supply chain environments and transportation is a plus.
• Experience utilizing RF Guns/Scanners is a plus.
