Days, 10 hours per shift: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday with 40 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will assist surgeons as a scrub nurse according to prescribed standards, and also engage as a second circulator when supervised by a Registered Professional Nurse. You will ensure the cleanliness of the operating department to maintain a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during procedures as a scrub nurse.
• Support as a second circulator under a supervising Registered Professional Nurse.
• Maintain housekeeping duties within the operating room.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of current experience in surgical settings.
• High proficiency with orthopedic and neurosurgery cases.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
