Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician / Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech - Certified to support operating room teams in Colorado. The role focuses on intraoperative assessment, planning, and execution in line with AORN standards, ensuring sterile prep and proper handling of instrumentation and power equipment.

Qualifications include 1-3 years of OR scrubbing, CST or CRCST certification, and BLS. Adherence to AORN/AAMI standards is required to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of operating room scrubbing experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or CRCST required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with AORN standards and care of instrumentation per AAMI/AORN.

Job Description

Provide intraoperative assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the operating room setting and procedures by following AORN standards and recommended practices for quality services to surgical patients.

• Assist with the handling and care of surgical instrumentation and power equipment.
• Follow AORN Standards and Recommended Practices meticulously throughout the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of operating room scrubbing experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
• Experience with AORN Standards and knowledge of care and handling of surgical instrumentation and power equipment per AAMI and AORN.
