Assignment Duration

Schedule

Must be able to work 8-hour rotating shifts, including consecutive weekends as needed. Total hours per week: 40.

As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of surgical and medical instruments. You will be responsible for the sterilization, maintenance, and organization of sterile supplies and equipment in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records regarding sterilization processes and inventory control.
• Inspect, clean, and test instruments for proper function before sterilization.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to meet patient needs.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Certified Sterile Processing Technician prior to start of contract.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Holiday Policy

Holiday pay will only be applicable if the shift begins on the holiday. For example:

• If your shift starts at 11 PM on a holiday and ends at 11 AM the following day, the entire shift will be paid at the holiday rate.
• If your shift starts before the holiday and ends on the holiday, no holiday pay will be given.
