Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to perform scrub role duties and support the operating room team.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will provide patient care for clients across age groups and demonstrate critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and BCLS; CST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire.
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role under supervision of RN.
• Provides patient care across age groups with high level critical thinking and problem solving.
