Job summary

Merrick & Company is seeking a Project Manager for the Surface Water/Stormwater Engineering Group in Colorado. Hybrid schedule preferred; remote candidates may travel to client sites and local offices 2x per month.

The role requires directing teams of engineers and CAD technicians, managing scopes, timelines, budgets, and collaborating with public agencies and private clients across Colorado. Colorado experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined experience in surface water, river restoration design and project management.
• Experience with open channel waterways and storm sewer projects.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineers, CAD technicians, and subconsultants on surface water/stormwater projects.
• Manage scopes, schedules, budgets and client interfaces across public and private sectors.
• Develop proposals, interviews, and negotiations for project awards with public and private clients.
