Job summary

Merrick & Company seeks a Project Manager for its Surface Water/Stormwater Engineering Group in Colorado. The role leads engineers and subconsultants, manages scope, schedule, and budgets, and interfaces with public and private clients to win work in Colorado.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in surface water and river restoration design, with strong BD and proposal experience; Colorado experience preferred. Hybrid schedule, travel 0–2x per month to client sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years in surface water and river restoration design, public works, and project management.
• Experience with open channel waterways, streams, and storm sewer projects.
• Proven track record of client satisfaction and multi-year relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, CAD technicians, and subconsultants on surface water/stormwater projects.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Develop proposals and pursue project awards with public and private sector clients.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
