Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC seeks a certified Surface Warfare Program Analyst to join the SMWDC Team in San Diego, CA. The role leverages recent SWO experience to support capability assessments and warfare training enhancements across surface, air, and mine warfare mission areas.

The ideal candidate brings leadership in naval operations, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to navigate the POM process. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required or sponsorable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience as a qualified SWO
• 5+ years of recent experience in technical writing or writing POM issues
• 3+ years of recent experience in the acquisition community or with the Government's POM process
• 5+ years of experience with Combat Systems; its components and instructions (preferred)
• Experience with Staff and Fleet operations and planning procedures
• Must be a US citizen

Responsibilities

• Support SMWDC Headquarters in capability assessments across all SMWDC-owned mission area capabilities
• Contribute to enhancement of warfare training
• Help increase lethality and tactical proficiency of the Surface Force
