Job summary

AECOM seeks a Surface Transportation Group Leader for the Meridian/Boise area to oversee and grow transportation projects and programs. You will manage staff, develop business opportunities, and collaborate with clients on planning, design, and delivery.

The role requires leadership in complex projects, client relationships, and a strong understanding of ITD and local agency processes. The position is hybrid with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency, including 2 years of leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer in the State of Idaho or ability to obtain one within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and staffing for pursuits.
• Establish relationships with external and internal clients.
• Be a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM's values.
• Provide management and guidance to staff and ensure policy adherence.
• Administer projects from inception through contract closeout, including objectives, scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead business development including prospecting and proposal development with local clients.
• Lead department staff and develop staff through mentoring and coaching.
