Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader (Transportation) to lead our transportation team and drive project success from conception to completion.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, pursue business development opportunities, and mentor staff to grow the group’s capabilities. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in transportation project management, a Civil Engineering degree, and a PE license (Idaho/Washington) or ability to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Idaho and/or Washington PE license OR ability to obtain within six months.
• 15+ years' experience in Transportation Project Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word.
• Ability to lead existing staff and develop new staff as needed to support growth of the transportation group.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead & manage existing staff, projects, professionals, and clients.
• Prepare Construction Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for a variety of projects.
• Work on transportation projects with multi-disciplinary teams to execute and deliver on project performance.
• Design roadway projects using state, county, city or AASHTO standards for horizontal/vertical alignments, cross sections, and layouts.
• Review plans: Roadway Sections, Erosion Control, Roadway Plan and Profiles, Drainage Plans and Profiles, Utility Plans, Signal Plans, Sign and Pavement Marking Plans, Traffic Control Plans and Construction Estimates.
• Provide autonomy to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
