Job summary

Ring Power Corporation in Florida seeks a skilled welder/fabricator to join its Service Welder II team. You will read structural drawings, weld to spec, and document repairs.

Requirements include 2–5 years welding experience, 3G/4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW certs, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3G and 4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW certifications.
• Thorough knowledge of safety for oxygen/acetylene welding, cutting, heating.
• Thorough knowledge of safety for carbon arc metal removal.
• 2–5 years welding and fabricating experience.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications.
• Read structural drawings and perform layout and assembly with minimal supervision.
• Weld repairs per experience or procedure and prepare parts to weld.
• Complete required documentation for repairs and track repair times.
• Monitor job expenses against repair estimates and report overruns to supervisor.
• Maintain neat, safe work area and follow contamination control guidelines.
• Train and mentor others in department.
