Job summary

Ring Power Corporation in Florida is seeking a Service Welder II to join the Miami location. You will disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications and read structural drawings to perform precise layouts and welding per procedures.

Required are 2–5 years welding/fabrication experience, MSHA Part 48, and 3G/4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW certifications. Training occurs at Riverview, FL before assignment to Miami.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years welding and fabrication experience.
• MSHA Part 48 certification required.
• 3G/4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble machine components per manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret structural drawings and perform layout/assembly with minimal supervision.
• Weld parts per procedure and experience or specified welding method.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area and comply with contamination control guidelines.
• Document repairs and track repair times using appropriate software.
• Monitor job expenses and report cost overruns to supervisor.
