International Minerals Carlsbad LLC seeks an experienced Surface Maintenance Electrician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems across its surface plant and mine operations.

The role covers low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems, AC/DC equipment, motors, drives, transformers, and programmable controllers, with emphasis on safety, adherence to NEC, and independent work in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial plant electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with low-, medium-, and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and install/repair instrumentation.
• Must have valid driver's license and willingness to work overtime.
• Strong safety focus and adherence to NEC standards.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems throughout the plant and mine.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, instrumentation, programmable controllers, and automation systems.
• Use electrical testing equipment and industrial hand tools to diagnose problems and complete repairs safely.
