Job summary

Antero Resources Corporation is seeking a Surface Landman to secure surface use agreements, identify land ownership, and manage related title research. The role requires negotiation with landowners and drafting compliant agreements while coordinating with multiple departments to support operations.

The position involves both office and field work, with travel to site locations as needed and a focus on maintaining strong relationships with landowners and regulators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with land/title research is a plus.
• Ability to negotiate with landowners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and partner with landowners to secure Surface Use Agreements (SUA).
• Identify land ownership from company and public records.
• Research, review, and analyze land titles and identify discrepancies.
• Continuously negotiate with landowners and draft agreements for manager’s review.
• Review, prepare, analyze, and interpret all land and surface related documents.
• Secure required agreements and coordinate with departments to meet objectives.
• Serve as liaison between internal departments, landowners, public, and regulators.
• Handle complaints and disputes and resolve grievances.
• Negotiate and resolve encroachments, claims, and losses related to projects.
• Assist Community Relations with investigations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
