Responsibilities

• Sand, grind, mount, or repair unit preparation for welding or painting per workflow instructions.
• Review materials and production requirements; organize tools and materials as needed.
• Inspect components for defects; ensure surface finish meets specifications and apply primers when needed.
• May assist with weld prep, grinding beads, and polishing to achieve cosmetic standards.
• Follow process sheets, shop orders, prints, and instructions; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Maintain safety and quality standards; participate in continuous improvement and teamwork.
