E-ONE in Ocala, Florida, is seeking a Fabricator I to set up and operate the full range of fabrication equipment used to produce custom and commercial fire trucks. Qualifications

• Must operate basic fabrication equipment and read shop orders
• Read blueprints and perform layout using decimal/fraction angles
• Use measuring tools to verify tolerances and finished parts
• Follow safety rules, PPE use and 5-S housekeeping practices
• Be flexible to work in other areas and overtime when needed
• Demonstrate initiative for continuous improvement and lean practices
• Ability to work as part of a team in a production environment

Responsabilités

• Set up, change over and operate the equipment and tools in assigned area
• Process materials through operations to meet product specs
• Position material on cart system and move to next operation
• Perform visual and dimensional checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Read prints and use basic math to verify dimensions
