Job summary

Surface Experts in the Jacksonville area is seeking a hands-on technician to complete daily repairs across residential and commercial sites. You will diagnose issues, apply painting and color-matching skills, and deliver quality results while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will work with a mobile toolkit and a branded company vehicle, receive onboarding and ongoing training, and have opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with a hands-on trade – construction, manufacturing, or painting related.
• Maintenance experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Color is a fundamental part of our work; the ability to understand and manipulate color is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Visit 4+ jobsites every day.
• Repair damage on the job site while using exceptional customer service to follow up with staff.
• Employ creativity in settings such as apartments, hotels, commercial buildings, and building sites.
• Use outstanding customer service to engage with staff and tenants.
• Keep progress up to date with notes and updates in our CRM/Dispatch tool.
• Reach out to our Support Team on any issue or question.
• Develop an understanding of our 5-step repair process and use it in the field.
• Master each part of your tool-kit.
• Think outside the box to create one-of-a-kind repairs.
