Core Specialty Insurance is offering a 12-week summer internship on our Surety Bond team. Interns will gain exposure to meaningful, real-life work and receive guidance from employees and leadership to develop industry knowledge and a solid foundation for a future career.

Key accountabilities include file maintenance, documenting underwriting information, and understanding underwriting materials, with exposure to senior management in a collaborative environment and a strong emphasis on accuracy

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, risk management and insurance or similar.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• File Maintenance and understanding of the submission and active account life
• Maintain proper documentation of underwriting information
• Development and understanding of the underwriting material
• Familiarity with the construction industry
