Job summary

Core Specialty Insurance in Cincinnati invites motivated students to join our 12-week summer internship on the Surety Bond team. You will work on real underwriting tasks with guidance from experienced professionals, gaining practical industry insight and building your foundation for a future in insurance.

As an intern you will develop skills in financial analysis, documentation, and teamwork, while contributing to underwriting material and account submissions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management and insurance or similar.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Familiarity with the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• File Maintenance and understanding of the submission and active account life
• Maintain proper documentation of underwriting information
• Development and understanding of the underwriting material
