Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company seeks an underwriting support professional to handle pre-quote and post-bind activities focused on ML/O operations and surety. You will assemble and issue bond products while adhering to policy guidelines and underwriting instructions.

A strong background in insurance terms and customer service is expected, with MS Office proficiency. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and at least two years of insurance experience, with a preference for surety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in Insurance industry preferred.
• Knowledge of underwriting terms and instructions (intermediate).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-quote and post-bind activities by account.
• Assemble and distribute bond products per guidelines.
• Review policy documents and solicitation requirements.
• Pull reports (credit, Guidestar, Westlaw, ERISA) per case.
• Assist in audits and set up QAP forms.
• Manage new business processing and renewals.
