Job summary

The Hilb Group in Irmo, SC is seeking a Surety Account Manager to join our in-office team. You will manage both existing book of business and new opportunities, prepare applications and renewal marketing, and coordinate policy administration and risk identification for clients.

Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and able to lead while collaborating in a fast-paced sales environment. AMS and ImageRight experience, plus strong verbal and written communication, are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree
• Must have experience in both Commercial and Contract bond issuance
• Experience with AMS and Image Right preferred.
• Experience managing book of business
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple clients
• Detail oriented, resourceful - strong decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication - communication written up after every renewal meeting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and client service skills
• Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to participate both as a team member and as a team leader.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Responsible for book of business and new business as referred.
• Manage all aspects of client's commercial insurance needs, from information gathering, preparing applications and renewal marketing to policy administration.
• Risk Identification process execution, program design, implementation.
• Participate in day-to-day communication with clients proactively
• Assist clients with questions and issue resolution
• Participate as a Team member in a fast-paced, growing sales environment open to continuous improvement.
