Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, ensure high patient care levels, and maintain a safe environment. You will supervise healthcare professionals, manage operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.

Candidates should have an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, current ED experience and Charge experience, and BLS (or obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer
• Two years of nursing experience required
• Current ED experience and Charge experience preferred

• Work with professionals from different fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assess nursing practices and infuse evidence-based improvements.
• Foster a caring, outcome-focused environment.
• Encourage staff development and growth opportunities.

Education

Job description

• One 12-hour shift and three 8-hour shifts
• Shift times: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, 3:00 PM to 11:00PM, 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Some weekends and holidays will be required

Location: Baylor Irving

• 36 hours per week
• Four shifts per week
• 1 to 2 clinical shifts per week
• One 12-hour shift and three 8-hour shifts
• Shift times: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, 3:00 PM to 11:0PM, 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Some weekends and holidays will be required

Experience Requirement: Current ED experience and Charge experience.
